About The Position

The Lincoln Center Summer Internship is a paid, 10-week, in-person arts administration internship for NYC undergraduate students passionate about the performing arts. This immersive program offers hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing interns with the chance to work closely with professionals in the design and construction field. Interns will collaborate with the Senior Director and Senior Manager of Design & Construction on exciting, live projects while gaining valuable skills in project management, organization, and arts facility operations.

Requirements

  • A rising college junior or senior, or equivalent studying Architecture, Construction, or related field.
  • You are based in New York City or the Greater New York region
  • You are available to work in-person 35 hours/week from June 2026– August 2026
  • You identify as both a self-starter and a dynamic team player
  • You exemplify leadership, teamwork, organization, innovation, resilience, inclusivity, and enthusiasm
  • You have familiarity with AutoCAD or other CAD software.
  • Strong organization and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Review and streamline documents in Procore, ensuring all files are properly categorized and accessible in the Design & Construction SharePoint Drive.
  • Contribute to the organization and digitalization of hard copy construction drawings and materials, creating a comprehensive and easily navigable inventory system for the design team.
  • Work alongside the Senior Director and Senior Manager of Design & Construction, offering support on current construction projects and gaining firsthand experience in the management and execution of arts-related construction initiatives.
  • Learnthe ins and outs of construction management, from early-stage design to project completion, while gaining exposure to key stages of facility redevelopment.
