About The Position

Lunda Construction Co., a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking Design Build Project Manager to join our office in Rosemount, MN. As a Design Build Project Manager at Lunda Construction, reporting to Regional Manager, you will have the opportunity to perform a key role in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed. You will manage project budgets and minimize exposure and risk on projects, ensure procurement and proposal development activities move according to schedule, and ensure that construction activities move according to schedule and communicate any delays to appropriate parties. You will coordinate the development of project work plans and make revisions as needed, perform constructability reviews, and communicate effectively with the contractors and vendors responsible for completing various phases of work. Additionally, you will coordinate the efforts of all parties involved in projects, including the owner, architect, consultants, contractors, and sub-contractors, monitor/report the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis, and hold regular status meetings with clients and/or consultant team. Maintaining strict adherence to quality and safety standards, inspecting and reviewing construction sites, ensuring project documents are compliant, and performing other duties as required are also part of your responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • 10 or more years of relevant project management experience
  • 5 or more years of Design Build project experience
  • Heavy civil construction experience preferred
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent time management skills and logical decision-making ability
  • Ability to read and understand drawings and specifications
  • Must have strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team
  • Excellent written and oral communication is necessary
  • Ability to collaborate with personnel at all levels, both internal and external to the organization
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to travel is required
