Forge & Build is hiring a Design Associate at our rental facility in Port Huron, MI, and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction. Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and offers overtime pay after working 40 hours. (This role is subject to on-call scheduling with additional compensation provided) Forge & Build is a place contractors and customers can access all the materials and hardware they need to get the job done, as well as tech-powered equipment rentals. Requirements

Ability to run or learn design programs
Ability to learn multiple cabinet lines
Ability to put together design presentations for the customers, and work as a team
Strong ability to multitask
Customer service skills
Self-motivated attitude
Strong organizational skills
Shouldn't be afraid to seek after new customers
Inherent desire to learn and develop on an individual basis
Strive for continuous improvement

Responsibilities

Meet with customers
Operate Chief Architect and 2020 design programs
Put together design presentations for the customers
Operate as a team
Design everything from small room remodels and additions to full kitchens, also new house designs
