About The Position

Haskell is seeking a Design Associate II - Civil in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will have entry-level responsibility as a design professional, for the production of innovative, appropriate, cost-effective designs, drawings, and specifications in their discipline for assigned projects. You will emerge as an independent resource and begin to coordinate work with other disciplines. You will work to fulfill experience requirements for eligibility to take the PE exam. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • AutoDesk Civil 3D (current version)
  • Stormwater Hydrologic and Hydraulic design software

Nice To Haves

  • Internship experience in civil engineering design experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Participates in project strategy meetings within discipline, develops design concepts, and produces pricing and proposal presentation documents
  • Researches and is responsible for discipline design compliance with proposal/client criteria
  • Prepares design for hydrology, hydraulics, site utilities, and erosion sediment control design approach
  • Ability to read and understand design documents and specifications
  • Partners with technical efforts of discipline engineers, designers, technicians, and/or interns assigned to the project
  • Meet civil design schedule to align with target dates for deliverables
