About The Position

Join a dynamic and national architectural design firm dedicated to creating inspiring architecture for retail, commercial, and multi-family needs. We are looking for individuals with commercial, grocery, and retail experience, particularly within urban markets, who possess strong collaborative communication skills. If you are passionate about contributing to design, coordination, and production of construction documents throughout the project lifecycle, we would love to meet you.

Requirements

  • Professional accredited degree in Architecture.
  • Ability to understand and communicate complex functional and aesthetic issues in architecture.
  • Engage in creative and critical thought with effective graphical communication.
  • Strong communication, problem solving, and presentation skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is critical.
  • 2-7 years of commercial project experience with REVIT.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate materials, building products, constructability, and processes.
  • Produce detailed construction documents for projects.
  • Coordinate with Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Refrigeration, and Structural disciplines.
  • Develop and assist in client and peer presentations.
  • Attend project and studio meetings.
  • Build, develop, and maintain client relations.
  • Assist in solving production issues.
  • Ensure the success of projects.
  • Review architectural designs, production documents, and construction change directives.
  • Conduct site scopes, observation trips, and generate field reports.
