About The Position

The position involves applying GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility and maintaining the highest quality standards. The candidate will demonstrate and promote the company vision while showcasing strong client service skills, teamwork, and collaboration. Responsibilities include proactive planning and multitasking to maximize productivity, meeting all quality and productivity metrics, and demonstrating strong teamwork. The role requires a technical understanding of building construction and engineering, with demonstrated experience in the full-project life cycle from bidding through completion. The candidate will diagnose problems, propose solutions, manage staff and outside contractors, and read, understand, and execute construction specifications and plans. Additionally, the candidate will manage construction budgets, handle multiple projects concurrently, and communicate effectively with internal and external contacts. The position also involves conducting activities safely and efficiently, assisting in managing subcontractors, reviewing construction drawings for accuracy, representing the owner in project meetings, and participating in continuing education.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical degree in a trade discipline like engineering, fabrication, sheet metal design, etc. is preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of previous construction experience required
  • Experience with building design, previous laboratory work experience
  • Experience using Procore Construction Management platform preferred
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

  • Assist in designing new or renovated building spaces
  • Participate in Real Estate due diligence
  • Assist or manage purchasing of equipment or fixtures
  • Travel as needed to support remote sites
  • Support Senior / Principal PM or equivalent with project management
  • Assist lead PM with activity schedule preparation
  • Manage single- and multi-prime contractor projects with support from more experienced PM/leadership
  • Assist with preparation of bid documents
  • Assist with review of bids
  • Prepare site communications to impacted entities / people
  • Communicates effectively with client staff members
  • Performs other duties as assigned
