Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity and immediate need on the United States Air Force (USAF) E-7 Program for an Electrical Systems Design Engineer in Tukwila, WA. As a member of the USAF E-7 Electrical Power Engineering team you will be working in a highly dynamic team environment developing electrical power design for both the aircraft primary power system - Electrical Power Generation System (EPGS) and the aircraft secondary power system - Secondary Power Distribution System (SPDS). This position requires working with suppliers to provide qualified hardware as well as working with the program wiring team to design the aircraft power system. This position will support lab test, aircraft build, flight test and operational support. The E-7 is the world's most advanced, capable and reliable Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) platform, having proven itself in operations around the world. The aircraft is designed to track multiple airborne and maritime targets simultaneously. It can provide situational awareness and direct other assets such as fighter jets and warships.
