About The Position

The Manager of Accounting/Finance at Doosan Energy Solutions America is responsible for overseeing the accumulation, classification, maintenance, audit, analysis, reconciliation, and consolidation of accounting and finance information. This role provides strategic direction for systems, projects, and programs within the finance department, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and effective communication with management and auditors.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance with previous work experience.
• CPA desirable, all levels of experience will be considered.
• Fluency in both Korean and English language, both written and verbal.
• Availability to work during off-normal business hours to align with South Korean time zone as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Complete, assure and facilitate updates to monthly/quarterly forecast reporting.
• Lead the company in identifying, understanding, and communicating relevant information managed.
• Design and develop ad hoc reporting as needed, and lead and participate in ad hoc projects and initiatives.
• Respond to inquiries from management, outside departments, and auditors in a timely, professional, and accurate manner.
• Assign and perform complex account reconciliations and journal entries that comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
• Review and analyze monthly departmental reports and approve prepared month-end close notes to identify trends and correct discrepancies.
• Plan, forecast, and compare financial/accounting activity.
• Prepare, consolidate, analyze, and document accounting information and financial data used to summarize and report on the status of the business.
