About The Position

Dermatology Associates of Tallahassee is a well-established, highly regarded dermatology practice with a 40-year legacy of excellence in patient care, education, and research. As a privately owned practice, we seamlessly integrate academic and private practice dermatology. We are home to an ACGME-accredited residency program with six residents and an ACGME-accredited fellowship program with two fellows, creating a dynamic environment for clinical education and mentorship. Our team consists of 15 MD's and 19 advanced practice providers, working collaboratively to provide exceptional dermatologic care across general dermatology, Mohs surgery, dermatopathology, and cosmetics. We are seeking a collegial, board-certified full-time dermatopathologist or dermatologist/dermatopathologist to join our thriving practice. This is an outstanding opportunity to step into a high-volume, academically enriched environment. The ideal candidate will contribute to our dermatopathology services, with opportunities for mentorship within our residency and fellowship programs.

Requirements

  • Board-certified dermatopathologist or dermatologist/dermatopathologist.
  • Experience in dermatopathology and a commitment to clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret dermatopathology specimens with precision, providing accurate and timely reports to referring dermatologists.
  • Work closely with dermatologists and other specialists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in educational initiatives, including mentoring medical students, dermatology residents and Mohs Fellows.
  • Maintain high standards in CAP-laboratory procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Stay current with advancements in dermatopathology through continued education and participation in conferences.
