About The Position

JOB OVERVIEW
• Job Title: Dermatology
• Job Type: Locum Tenens
• Location: Greensboro, NC
• Service Setting: Outpatient Clinic
• Coverage Type: Clinical Only
• Coverage Period: June/July 2026 – Ongoing (26+ weeks)
• Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM

COVERAGE DATES
• Ongoing full-time coverage; 4 shifts per week

PATIENT INFORMATION
• Patient Demographics: All ages
• Patient Volume/Census: 30–40 patients per day
• Case Mix: General dermatology including medical and cosmetic dermatology

FACILITY INFORMATION
• EMR System: Epic
• Office Equipment Available: Standard dermatology clinic equipment
• Support Staff Available: 3 CMAs per provider (scribing support)
• Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Coverage

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
• Hospital Privileges Required: No
• Credentialing Timeline: 60–90 days

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
• Rate: TBD

Requirements

• Active NC license required or IMLC eligible
• Board Certified in Dermatology required
• DEA: Required
• Experienced general dermatologist required
• Skin cancer screenings
• Lesion evaluation and removal
• Biopsies and minor dermatologic procedures
• Cosmetic procedures including Botox and fillers

Nice To Haves

• EMR experience preferred
• Strong clinical efficiency in high-volume setting

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient dermatology care for a wide range of skin conditions
• Perform medical and cosmetic dermatologic procedures
• Manage high patient volume efficiently with support staff
• Collaborate with clinical team and support staff
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR
