This is a Full Time Position located in Steamboat Springs Compensation Range: $24.07 to $36.11 Benefits: Medical, Dental, Life, Retirement, Paid Time Off Position Classification: Non-Exempt Essential Functions and Basic Duties: Position Specific Performance Expectations: Dermatology Registration Coordinator o Maintains Accurate No Show Log and follows No Show Procedures. o Is logged into phones to receive the calls that Dermatology Scheduler is unable to answer. o Greets patients on the phone and in person in a friendly and courteous manner. o Works with Dermatology Scheduling Coordinator to review and correct provider schedules on a daily basis to ensure maximum productivity, minimize appointment overlap, and ensure patient/provider satisfaction. o Ensures that patient information is accurate and up to date in all applicable EMRs. o Identifies issues that require additional investigation and evaluation, validates discrepancies and ensures appropriate follow up. o Resolves issues independently, and when appropriate escalates to supervisor. o Assists Patient Registration Manager to ensure all patient access workflows, policies and procedures are being followed. o Acts as a liaison between patient, families, physicians and care team. o Participates in interdepartmental process improvements and process evaluation efforts. o Establishes and maintains a professional relationship with all staff in order to resolve problems, working as a team. o Functions in a high volume, multiple-task environment while producing quality work. o Prioritizes workload and completes assignments within allotted time. o Is able to work independently and problem solve. o Must meet established productivity and quality guidelines. o Attends all applicable workshops and staff meetings (remote attendance accepted) o Is able to educate patients on financial assistance options and collect copays as needed o Meets with Patient Registration Manager as needed to maintain professionalism, communication, customer service and leadership o Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: o Must be at least 18 years of age o Must be able to legally work in the United States o Must be able to pass a background check o Must be able to pass a drug screen and breath alcohol test o Must complete employee health meeting
