About The Position

Part-Time Dermatology Physician Assistant Job with a Surgical Focus in Washington, DC Metro Job-8406 Must have 2+ years of experience as a PA with dermatology and surgical experience. A well-established, physician-led dermatology practice in a premier Maryland suburb is seeking an experienced Dermatology Physician Assistant with strong surgical expertise to join its Mohs surgery team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for a PA who values surgical precision, clinical consistency and a highly supported practice environment. Opportunity Highlights: Private dermatology practice with a dedicated Mohs surgery unit and experienced clinical staff Part-time schedule: 2–3 days per week, approximately three weeks per month Surgical-focused role supporting Mohs procedures, including suturing, pre-op and post-op care, surgical flow oversight and patient follow-ups Efficient, well-supported surgical days with multiple MAs assisting the Mohs unit Competitive compensation aligned with experience, plus malpractice coverage, CME, PTO and paid holidays Candidate Profile: Dermatology PA with 2+ years of general dermatology and surgical experience Surgical experience is essential; prior Mohs surgery assist experience strongly preferred Comfortable working independently within a structured, physician-led practice The Area: Situated just outside Washington, DC, this sought-after community offers refined residential living, walkable amenities, and immediate access to the cultural, academic and professional resources of the nation’s capital.
