Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
Previous experience in a Medical Assistant role or in a clinical environment is desirable.
Knowledge of medical terminology, specifically in dermatology.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective patient interactions.
Ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive patient information professionally.
Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and standard office software applications is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for their examinations by documenting vital signs and medical histories.
Assist physicians during examinations and procedures by ensuring that all necessary equipment and instruments are ready.
Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for further analysis.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with regulations.
Schedule appointments and effectively manage office communications.
Educate patients on treatment plans and skincare regimens.
Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized, and replenished with necessary supplies.
