About The Position
This role is for a Dermatology Medical Assistant in a growing, patient-focused dermatology practice located in western Michigan, just outside Grand Rapids. Requirements
- Dermatology experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical or procedural setting
- Strong clinical skills with familiarity or training in injections, biopsies, excisions, and cosmetic treatments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a focus on patient education and comfort
- Comfort working in a busy, multi‑provider environment with EMR documentation and workflow efficiency
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with dermatology protocols and best practices
- Active certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) or equivalent; eligible to work in Michigan
Responsibilities
- Assist providers with medical and cosmetic dermatology visits
- Prepare exam rooms and instruments
- Obtain patient histories
- Support efficient flow throughout the daily schedule
