About The Position

The Dermatology Clinical Account Specialist (CAS) position at UCB is a field-based role focused on driving demand for dermatology products within a designated territory. The CAS will engage with healthcare professionals, build relationships, and ensure that patients receive necessary therapies. This role requires a strong understanding of the patient journey, effective communication of clinical information, and collaboration with the broader UCB organization to enhance patient experiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS)
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct selling experience to healthcare professionals in the pharmaceutical, biotech, device, or healthcare industry.
  • Valid Driver License with no more than 2 moving violations in the previous three years.
  • Reside within the assigned geography.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience calling on Dermatologists in the assigned geography.
  • Experience selling injectable biologics products.
  • Proven track record of success in Pharmaceutical Sales with goal attainment and awards achievement.
  • Biologic product launch experience.
  • Demonstrated business and strategic planning skills.
  • Understanding of managed care landscape and its impact on business.
  • Strong verbal, influencing, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills and success working in teams.

Responsibilities

  • Drive demand for current and future dermatology pipeline assets in the assigned territory.
  • Engage and build relationships with clinical decision makers and office support staff.
  • Communicate clinical information on dermatology products and relevant patient support services to healthcare professionals.
  • Analyze territory data to adapt customer call plans and establish professional relationships with healthcare providers.
  • Own responsibility for attaining territory sales goals through effective planning and collaboration with the Immunology Clinical Specialist.
  • Conduct account-related activities such as profiling, call planning, and reviewing sales data with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and support promotional educational opportunities for medical stakeholders.
