Dermatology Assistant I - Certified Medical Assistant
About The Position
Join a state of the art dermatology and aesthetics clinic with over 40 years of experience! Sutton Dermatology + Aesthetics is a thriving, physician-owned dermatology practice consisting of four dermatologists, advanced practice providers and experienced support staff. We are looking for a Dermatology Assistant to join our team! We offer a comprehensive training program, competitive wage, and excellent benefits. Hours: Full time, 80 hours per pay period (2 weeks), Monday through Friday, with availability and flexibility between the hours of 7:30 am and 6:15 pm. Job duties include but are not limited to: Responsible for assisting providers with patient care by obtaining and documenting history and vital signs, performing assigned procedures and providing patient education. Accompanies provider in room and documents clinical notes as directed by the provider. Position will work in general dermatology as well as our aesthetic center. Must be patient focused, a self-starter, dependable, and a team player. Open to Physician Assistants and Med Students starting school in Fall 2027 or later. Requirements
- High School diploma, or equivalent
- Must possess one of the following licensures: Certified Medical Assistant Current Nebraska LPN license Surgical Technologist Certified Dermatology Technician
- Medication Aide required within 90 days of hire.
- CPR/BLS required within 60 days of hire.
- Must be patient focused, a self-starter, dependable, and a team player
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in dermatology, or aesthetics field preferred.
Responsibilities
