About The Position

JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Dermatology • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Rochester, NY • Service Setting: Outpatient Clinic • Coverage Type: Clinical Only • Coverage Period: June 1, 2026 – Ongoing (26 weeks) • Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Adults and Adolescents • Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 25–35 patients per day • Case Mix: General dermatology with option for minor surgical procedures FACILITY INFORMATION • EMR System: Epic • Office Equipment Available: Standard dermatology clinic equipment • Support Staff Available: 1 support staff per 12 patients (LPN, RN, MA) • Reason for Coverage: Supplemental Coverage COMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Rate: TBD • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Not Specified REQUIRED PROCEDURES • General dermatology evaluations and treatments • Minor dermatologic procedures (optional) JOB REQUIREMENTS • Licenses: Active NY license required (in hand) • Board: Board Certified preferred • Certifications: BLS required • Experience: Minimum 3 years recent dermatology experience • Other Qualifications: Must have recent Epic experience; no significant work gaps DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide outpatient dermatology care • Diagnose and treat skin conditions • Perform minor procedures if applicable • Collaborate with clinic staff • Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR
