Utilizing advanced trading and risk systems, we operate across global crypto exchanges, offering deep liquidity and tight spreads in a variety of products. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a talented and driven junior trader to join our New York-based team. This is a full-time, in-person role covering trading operations from Monday through Friday, and an excellent opportunity to join one of the leading sell-side crypto trading desks in the world.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (STEM)
- 1 - 3 years of experience in options/derivatives trading experience at a bank, proprietary trading firm, or market-making firm. Crypto experience is a plus
- Basic understanding of options theory and greek risks
- Passionate about trading, macroeconomic markets, and interest in crypto
- Personal experience using various blockchain protocols and understanding of crypto liquidity conditions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team-oriented
Nice To Haves
- Coding skills (Python, SQL) are desirable but not mandatory
- Crypto experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Trade and manage positions across various crypto spot and derivatives markets, working closely with portfolio managers and risk managers to determine best execution and position management
- Coordinate closely with the global trading teams to maintain seamless 24/7 market coverage
- Provide research, analysis, and trade ideas on various crypto, crypto-linked equities, and macro catalysts that may drive various firm positions
- Ensure accurate trade capture and quality data flow in our risk systems
- Execute and maintain up-to-date position reconciliation with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness
- Compile and analyze metrics for trading
- Work cross functionally with accounting and operations teams to ensure record accuracy and investigate discrepancies in a timely manner
