About The Position

Susquehanna Financial Group, LLLP (SFG) integrates expertise in trading, research, and sales to provide value to our client base of mutual funds, hedge funds, and pension/endowment funds. As a member of our Derivatives Sales Trading team, you will engage directly with clients, execute order flow, and provide market-driven insights. This role involves close collaboration with our derivatives trading, strategy, market intelligence, and equity research teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required.
  • 3 to 6 years of experience in sales trading, ideally with a focus on derivatives.
  • Exceptional quantitative and analytical abilities.
  • Deep understanding of options pricing, volatility modeling, and derivatives markets.
  • Expertise in examining volatility surfaces, skew, term structures, and other critical options metrics to inform trading decisions.
  • Ability to evaluate market trends, interpret options flows and positioning, and assess strategy feasibility.
  • Proven ability to build and foster strong, collaborative relationships with institutional clients and internal counterparts.
  • Client-focused mindset with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptability to shifting priorities and willingness to contribute across projects and workstreams.
  • Possession of SIE, Series 7 and Series 63, or the ability to obtain all licenses within four months of hire required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Python, SQL, or VBA preferred.
  • Strong ambition, a willingness to take initiative, and a desire to continuously learn.
