Requirements

  • 0-3 years of experience within derivatives operations
  • Strong SQL database and VBA skills
  • Demonstrates the ability to work independently and as part of a team environment
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Risk-adverse mindsight in order to prioritize urgent action items

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science or Mathematics
  • Preferred derivatives product knowledge
  • Preferred familiarity with valuations systems such as Murex, Blackrock Aladdin and Numerix

Responsibilities

  • Provide coverage for both International and Domestic derivative trading desks
  • Review trade valuation to ensure consistency across MII's financial platforms
  • Setup and maintenance of derivative instruments within MII's platforms and databases
  • Contribute to the development, analysis and testing of new models to support ongoing initiatives
  • Produce regular valuation and analytics reporting related to derivatives positions
  • Communicate collaboratively with front office, risk, settlements, and technology, to ensure accuracy of positions, and readiness for market events, or new regulations
  • Conduct due diligence for research projects and investigations of a specialized nature as requested by senior management and external auditors
  • Support the Collateral and Derivatives Settlement processes if needed
  • Assist in the development of new systems' capabilities to support expansion of international business and the related scope of derivatives products
