About The Position
The position is responsible for leading, planning, organizing, directing, and coordinating the academic programs for all schools within the San Juan Unified School District. The individual will have primary authority and accountability for the district's academic performance and will provide leadership, vision, and strategic direction for the district's curriculum, instruction, assessment, special education, and school support initiatives. Additionally, the role involves overseeing professional development for all teachers and principals. The position supervises various assistant superintendents and directors, as well as other certificated and classified employees as assigned.
