About The Position
The Deputy Sheriff will actively enforce laws, maintain order, protect life and property, investigate criminal activity, and educate the community on matters of public safety. This position requires a current TCOLE Peace Officer license or upcoming Basic Peace Officer Course graduation. Compensation is based on full-time documented years of service with TCOLE. Base pay does not include any additional certificate pay or incentives the candidate may qualify for.
