About The Position

The Norfolk Sheriff's Office is seeking a Deputy Sheriff. The starting salary for this position is $43,260, which increases to $47,073 upon graduation from the Basic Academy. Additionally, there is a $5,000 signing incentive for new hires.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid Virginia or North Carolina Driver's License.
• Must have Social Security Card.
• Must have Original Birth Certificate.
• Former military must have an original DD-214.
