About The Position
We are now accepting applications for Entry Patrol Deputies. This position offers a starting pay of $30.64 per hour, which includes a $0.50 shift differential. Extensive paid training is provided, and the position is eligible for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program, allowing qualified employees to receive 100% student loan forgiveness. The role involves rewarding and meaningful work, providing a necessary service to the community, with no need to travel for academy training as the POST Basic Patrol Academy is offered locally. There are ongoing paid educational and training opportunities, as well as advancement opportunities and special teams opportunities such as SWAT, K9, Dive Team, and more. Successful candidates will also have the benefit of take-home cars upon completion of the Field Training Program.
