About The Position
The Deputy Sheriff-Coroner in Training position is a temporary role designed for individuals who will attend a California Peace Officer Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) approved Basic Academy. The selected candidate will receive training to acquire peace officer status in California and will be paid during their time at the academy. This position is non-benefited and will conclude upon successful or unsuccessful completion of the academy.
