About The Position

A global, publicly traded industrial company is seeking a Deputy Segment Counsel to support a ~$1B consumer business segment within a ~$2B revenue organization. The company operates across multiple countries, with products embedded in essential industries and a strong track record of operational performance and long-term growth. This is a highly transactional, hands-on role operating at the center of the business. The Deputy Segment Counsel will lead commercial and strategic legal work, advising on day-to-day operations, contracts, and key initiatives, while partnering closely with business leadership to enable execution and manage risk in real time. The role is based on-site in Hoffman Estates, Illinois, and requires relocation. The Deputy Segment Counsel will serve as the primary legal counsel for the office, embedded directly with the business and supported by a lean, globally distributed legal team.
