The Deputy Right of Way Manager-Valuation is responsible for supervising employees, communicating with, motivating, training, and evaluating staff, and planning and directing their work. This position has the authority to recommend hiring, transferring, suspending, laying off, recalling, promoting, discharging, assigning, rewarding, or disciplining subordinate employees. The role involves managing the Valuation Services program, assisting the Right of Way Manager in developing and implementing policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The Deputy Manager will also participate in the hiring process, provide employee training, and represent the Right of Way at public meetings and hearings. Additionally, the position requires monitoring local government projects, developing quality control programs, and assisting with the Right of Way Trainee Program.
