About The Position
The Clark County Prosecuting Attorney is seeking a full-time deputy prosecuting attorney. This deputy prosecutor would be primarily responsible for prosecuting misdemeanor and Level 6 felonies. Additionally, this deputy will be responsible for prosecuting OWI Causing Serious Bodily Injury and OWI Causing Death cases. The position requires working in a fast-paced and busy court with a team of three other deputy prosecutors on a daily basis to coordinate schedules and court duties.
Requirements
- Doctor of Jurisprudence degree
- License to practice law in the state of Indiana
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Ability to work both independently and work well with others as a team player
Responsibilities
- Prosecuting misdemeanor and Level 6 felonies
- Prosecuting OWI Causing Serious Bodily Injury cases
- Prosecuting OWI Causing Death cases
- Coordinate schedules and court duties with a team of three other deputy prosecutors
