About The Position

Summary: The Deputy Project Manager (DPM) will support Program Managers in overseeing day-to-day operations of assigned projects, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards, timelines, and contractual requirements. The DPM acts as a key liaison between internal teams, subcontractors, and clients, driving operational excellence and compliance with company policies and customer expectations. We are seeking an experienced candidate with management experience within the DoD and other Federal agencies, particularly in healthcare (clinical), medical solutions, behavioral health, program management, and related administrative support. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills; technical writing skills required for document development
  • Ability to work as a self-starter, take initiative, and execute tasks with minimal supervision
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Ability to interact professionally with customers and candidates during recruiting activities
  • Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects
  • Ability to work independently, understand larger tasks, and proactively work towards completion
  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum of 5 years of Project Management or coordination experience
  • Experience compiling and analyzing key performance metrics in support of program management reviews

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Experience with government contracts or large-scale programs

Responsibilities

  • Assist Program Managers in planning, organizing, and executing project activities efficiently to meet scope, schedule, and performance objectives
  • Support the invoice life cycle
  • Prepare cost or price analysis
  • Monitor project progress and provide status updates as required to stakeholders
  • Assist with recruiting and onboarding activities as assigned by Program Managers
  • Review and resolve contractor issues affecting performance and ensure compliance with legal requirements, company policies, and customer objectives
  • Support daily interactions with program teams, service center personnel, and other functional teams regarding contract requirements
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, deliverables, and reports
  • Represent the project team in meetings with clients and partners as needed
