Deputy Project Manager
About The Position
AECOM is seeking a highly talented, self-driven and motivated Deputy Project Manager to be based in New York, New York area within our Transportation group. . In this role, you will have the opportunity to become a certified AECOM Project Manager within 1 year of hire date. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: Become part of a department that delivers complex projects for various transportation clients Perform project management responsibilities on projects in the NY Metro area Manage a multi-discipline design team to produce high quality design deliverables, meet schedules and stay within project budgets Coordinate construction phase services for both design-build and design-bid-build projects Respond to client issued RFQ and RFPs and pursuits Effectively communicate expectations and requirements with both clients and team members Oversee development of project design schedules and project cost estimates
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Engineering plus four years of related management experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Nice To Haves
- Experience managing multi-discipline design team to produce high quality design deliverables, meet schedules and stay within project budgets
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, creative problem-solving, collaboration and leadership skill
