The Leidos Digital Modernization Sector is seeking a qualified and trained Deputy Program Manager for a role in an engineering support services program for U.S. Army customers at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD. The Deputy Program Manager reports to the Program Manager and is responsible for planning, organizing, securing and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific program goals and objectives to bring about the successful completion of the CYBERTRON program goals and objectives. The CYBERTRON program delivers highly skilled engineering services to the U.S. Army C5ISR Center in their mission of cybersecurity research and development and cryptographic modernization. Professional Growth: Leverage your expertise while advancing your career through challenging and rewarding projects Your Role and Responsibilities As a Deputy Program Manager Deputy Program Manager must have experience with diverse IT projects both large and small. Must be well versed in full systems development life cycle, enterprise wide network engineering, strategic information planning, business process reengineering, structure and management practices. Must be able to identify and mitigate risks to the program. Must be able to manage to cost, schedule and performance. Duties may include assisting the Program Manager with ensuring that all programs run within scope, time, and budget constraints. This sub family also interfaces with task and functional leaders, subcontractors, and support personnel.

Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen and possess a Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10+ years or prior relevant experience.
  • Appropriate DoD 8750 certification (Security+ or higher).
  • Requires deep management and leadership knowledge to lead cross-family project or program teams or manage across multiple families.
  • Able to communicate with parties within and outside of own project/family, and has responsibility for communicating with diverse parties external to the organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Eligible for TS / SCI
  • 7+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects
  • Experience supporting Army programs
  • Must possess an active DoD Secret clearance at time of consideration
