About The Position

Valiant is looking for a Deputy Program Manager to join our Team! ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assisting the Program Manager in overseeing daily operations of the Battle Laboratory Collaborative Simulation Environment (BLCSE) Support Contract, productivity, and management of the contract team. Support the customer’s operational requirements regarding mission command operations within a simulation environment. Providing SME guidance regarding mission command best practices during experiment events. Developing, implementing, and refining operational strategies, policies, procedures, and workflows to align with mission goals and to improve performance. Responsible for the coordination of some day-to-day operations and will be the focal point for escalation to the Contract Program Manager, as well as routine interface with the Contracting Officer’s Representative. Should have at least five to seven years of increasingly responsible experience in the planning, integration, and execution of distributed, multi-site, Simulation and Mission Command System-supported Military and Joint Experiments conducted to examine and analyze Future Service Concepts, Capabilities, and Force Structures in the context of Military formations, operating in a Service, Joint, Interagency, and Multinational force environment. Coordination with stakeholders to resolve any cross-functional challenges to ensure alignment with mission priorities. Managing and mentoring operational team, task assignments, hiring support, and training as required. Overseeing resource allocation, supply chain/logistics (where applicable) within the simulation laboratory operational mission. Supporting business development, cost management, process optimization, and special projects or initiatives. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Modeling and Simulation, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research/Systems Analysis, Information Systems Management.
  • Individuals must possess Operations and/or Program Management experience at the Army Battalion/Brigade level (or Joint Service/civilian/industry equivalent).
  • Should have at least five to seven years of increasingly responsible experience in the planning, integration, and execution of distributed, multi-site, Simulation and Mission Command System-supported Military and Joint Experiments conducted to examine and analyze Future Service Concepts, Capabilities, and Force Structures in the context of Military formations, operating in a Service, Joint, Interagency, and Multinational force environment.
