About The Position

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Deputy Program Manager to join our team! What You'll Be Doing: Provide day-to-day oversight for logistic operations and act as the liaison during information exchanges between operations, maintenance, and logistics personnel. The DPM shall have full authority to act for the PM when the PM is not otherwise available. The DPM shall provide oversight of efforts under the TO and coordinate with Government personnel and Government agencies/departments to ensure that SOCPAC mission objectives are met from an operational perspective under the TO. The DPM shall coordinate with appropriate Government personnel to ensure the release and acceptance of all information, so it complies with the appropriate security controls and protections based on classification, technological progress, and other considerations.

Requirements

  • Active Top-Secret level clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access
  • Master’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Project Management, Business Management/Administration or other related technical field
  • A minimum of five years of experience in operations management within major commands, the Intelligence Community, and Federal agencies or organizations.
  • A minimum of five years of experience managing operations, directing personnel, ensuring compliance with regulations within DoW agencies under a TO that is similar in scope and complexity to the ILS2 TO.
  • A minimum of five years of experience working in roles within or with countries within the USINDOPACOM AOR.
  • Core knowledge of: Modeling and Simulation Facility repairs, maintenance, and movement Deployment and distribution Base, Port, and Airfield operations Warehousing/supply Engineering Services Operational contract support Exercise and training support

Nice To Haves

  • Experience organizing, directing, and managing contract operation support functions involving multiple, complex, and interrelated project tasks
  • Experience effectively communicating at senior levels within a customer organization
  • Experience meeting with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items, and effectively execute those items in accordance with approved plans
  • Experience operating with any of the following commands US Special Operations Command Pacific (SOCPAC) US Pacific Fleet (PACFLT) US Army Pacific (USARPAC) US Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) US Forces Command Korea/Japan (USFK/J)
