As a Deputy Program Manager - Engineering (DPME) for the Refresh 3 program for the Strategic Weapon Control (SWC) Program in the Strategic Systems Business, you’ll lead a highly skilled cross functional team responsible for the development, implementation, and testing of sub-systems designed to support future modernization of the Strategic Weapons System platform. We will be providing an incremental, innovative infrastructure and architecture to ensure an updated weapon system platform for our Navy customers is reliable, maintainable, and future leaning while maintaining high quality. You’ll ensure the Strategic Weapon System, which includes Navigation, Missile (Guidance, Reentry, etc.), Fire Control, Launcher, Instrumentation, and all other subsystems meets all new requirements, building off the current architecture to build and field the system through operational test and deployment.   • ensure the Strategic Weapon System, which includes Navigation, Missile (Guidance, Reentry, etc.), Fire Control, Launcher, Instrumentation, and all other subsystems meets all new requirements, building off the current architecture to build and field the system through operational test and deployment.
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related Science, Technology or Mathematics field.
  • Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
  • Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire.
  • Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
