About The Position

The DCCC is hiring a Deputy National Organizing Director for the 2026 election cycle. This person will directly manage the Regional Organizing Directors and work with the National Organizing Director to build and execute programs in target districts. The Deputy National Organizing Director will work closely with the rest of the department leadership to set up Regionals and district organizing programs for success. Ideal candidates for this position will be excellent teachers who are eager to manage managers to build strong organizing programs in Congressional races in 2026.

Requirements

  • 3+ cycles or 6+ years experience working on political campaigns in a field organizing capacity or comparative experience working with community, advocacy or electoral organizations with success in developing and winning campaigns
  • Similar level of experience supervising staff in an organizing setting, with a strong track record of building teams and developing staff leadership
  • 2+ cycles or 4+ years of direct staff management experience
  • Extremely strong staff management skills
  • Experience managing organizing program, including at the Congressional level
  • Experience hiring and managing staff
  • Draws from team members' strengths, empowering them to maximize their talents; contributes where needed to achieve and exceed goals; mentors and guides colleagues with regular feedback and recognition; clearly lays out vision and expectations to the team

Responsibilities

  • Hire and manage DCCC Regional Organizing Directors
  • Communicate programmatic changes to Regionals and advocate for their needs with Organizing Department leadership
  • Assist National Organizing Director in program design and implementation
  • Work with the Voter Protection team to develop and implement voter protection efforts across the House Battlefield
