Northrop Grumman Space Systems in Linthicum, Maryland is seeking a Principal or Senior Principal Systems Engineer to be the Deputy Mission Systems Engineering Integration and Test Integrated Product Team Lead and Cost Account Manager (Deputy MSEIT IPT Lead/CAM) for a Production Space RADAR Payload program. As the Deputy Mission SEIT IPT Lead/CAM, you will report to the MSEIT IPT Lead for all Active RF programs in Space Systems - Baltimore and lead the MSEIT organization for one of the portfolio's programs for a next-gen Space RADAR. The Mission SEIT team is responsible for the: Systems Engineering Process System Level Requirements and Verification Requirement Derivation to Segments/Elements System Level Performance Analysis Tasking and Processing Algorithm Development and Implementation System I&T and End-to-End Test On-Orbit Vehicle Checkout This exciting role offers the chance to work at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and complex space systems. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams for all mission elements, including ground system tasking and processing, RADAR payload, Space Vehicle (bus), and on-orbit operations to innovate and improve mission capabilities. This position offers the opportunity to be at the forefront of aerospace innovation, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in space technology. You will also be responsible for the Cost Account Manager (CAM) duties, including monitoring spending rate, organizing 3-month increment planning across the MSEIT team, supervising task milestone progress, and weekly reporting of quantifiable backup data (QBD). This position can be staffed at the Principal or Sr. Principal level based on the basic qualifications below.

Requirements

Principal Engineer : Bachelor of Science Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) curriculum with 5 years relevant experience; 3 years with MS Degree
Sr. Principal Engineer : Bachelor of Science Degree in STEM curriculum with 8 years relevant experience; 6 years with MS Degree
System Requirements Development and Verification
Cost Account Management Experience
Experience with Atlassian Tools, including Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, Git, etc.
United States Citizenship
Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance at time of application , current and within scope, with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI approval/access and Polygraph.
