About The Position
The position involves managing the procurement process for electronic parts in the automotive industry. The role requires floating RFQs to suppliers, obtaining techno-commercial proposals, and ensuring technical proposal sign-offs in collaboration with engineering teams. The candidate will support the SSU by providing necessary data for commercial discussions and negotiations with suppliers, as well as preparing and raising purchase orders. The role also includes involvement in the IMCR/VAVE process, cost estimation for CAPEX requirements, and maintaining quality standards throughout the procurement process. The candidate will be responsible for facilitating the deployment of new and revised standards and ensuring a seamless flow of information regarding quality concerns. Additionally, the role requires releasing schedules and procuring parts based on project gateways to ensure smooth vehicle builds, along with tracking APQP at all stages of product development.
