About The Position
Under the direction of the Deputy Labor Commissioner III (Senior Deputy) in the Wage Claims Adjudication (WCA) program, the Deputy Labor Commissioner II (DLC II) proactively investigates and adjudicates claims to verify and determine compliance to the extent permitted by law. The DLC II writes decisions or orders based on evidence presented at hearings in order to enforce laws and effectively handles cases in a timely manner under relevant laws and pursuant to Division policies and procedures. We are looking for passionate and driven team members who seek to make a difference in the lives of workers and employers through education and enforcement of employment laws. This position is in our Wage Claims Adjudication Unit.
