About The Position

Ensure the safety and security of our nation as a Deputy Technical Lead/IT Program Manager at GDIT. You’ll apply the latest technology and provide operational support to deliver actionable intelligence for the Intelligence Community. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
  • 15+ years of related experience.
  • Provides technical, administrative, and operational leadership for the program.
  • Supervises assigned staff, including subordinate supervisors.
  • Participates in the development of technical project plans, proposals, reports, and task order and administrative reporting.
  • Conducts planning and provides recommendations to client on task workload.

Nice To Haves

  • Scrum Master certification.
  • Firm understanding of SQL and database concepts.
  • Experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, SNS, CloudWatch).
  • Experience with ServiceNow and/or Salesforce.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a number of diverse functions for the customer from participating and contributing to technical tasks, to leading development and infrastructure efforts.
  • Lead and champion a data driven organizational plan to optimize the customer’s data management, governance, accessibility.
  • Provide programmatical expertise in the planning, vision, design and implementation of the technical solution.
  • Attend customer meetings and may serve as primary client liaison.
  • Interact with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff on behalf of the client.
  • Coordinate development of deliverables and products.
  • Ensure quality assurance of project deliverables.
  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned.
  • Participate in special projects as required.
