The Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&TC) Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) Long Range Radars department is seeking a Deputy Integrated Product Team Sustainment Lead to work onsite in Woburn, MA. Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable, and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices, and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. In this instance, you will be supporting the sustainment of a deployed system. What You Will Do As the Deputy Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead, you will play a critical role in delivering innovative and trusted solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of sustaining Advanced Technology products and services throughout their life cycle.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience in program management and/or project management.
  • Experience in executing DoD sustainment and/or product support activities.
  • Active and transferable Top Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain TS/SCI prior to start.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with design, integration, and/or sustainment of DoD radar systems and equipment, including US Air Force / DoD Radar Programs.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple and competing priorities with consistency, accountability, and flexibility.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated success in effectively interacting with senior leadership, including customers, RTX leadership, teammates, and suppliers.
  • Comprehensive planning skills with the ability to analyze both technical and financial data and reports.
  • Ability to manage various tasks, requirements and commitments and interface successfully with numerous disciplines.
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated track record of developing customer relationships to meet contractual requirements.
  • Experience with proposals development/management.
  • Knowledgeable of the RTX business processes, policies, procedures, and organizational structure.
  • Proficiency with program management tools such as PMX, PMER, SBT, or experience managing project cost, schedule, & risk.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) and Program Manager in developing and executing business and program strategies, as well as providing technical oversight of sustainment engineering activities.
  • Partnering in the development of long-term sustainment strategies that align with technical requirements and customer needs.
  • Assessing system performance and supportability, and recommending improvements to enhance technical capability, maintainability, and sustainability.
  • Assisting with follow-on sustainment proposal negotiations, executing program start-up activities, creating program continuity artifacts, and developing and maintaining the performance baseline.
  • Presenting IPT topics to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Interfacing with the DoD customer to optimize products and solutions in support of achieving maximum Operational Readiness and compliance to contractual requirements as well as establishing open communications and building trust.
  • Growing business relationships by responding to customer needs in a timely manner, identifying customer needs and value propositions, addressing complex technical requirements, and leading a global team to achieve business objectives.
  • Managing logistics operations.
  • Developing and managing maintenance plans for site upgrades.
