About The Position

The main purpose of this position is to serve as a designee for the Health Officer, overseeing all public health programs, public health policy, program budgets and senior leaders within the agency. This position assists the Health Officer in the administration of public health programs for Prince George's County, including management of personnel, funds, facilities and all assets of the Department.

Requirements

Qualified candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and six years of professional experience related to health care service delivery, including three years in a supervisory or managerial position.
A related master’s degree will substitute for two years of general experience.
Additional experience will substitute year-for-year for the college degree.
