About The Position

The Deputy General Manager at DO & CO is responsible for overseeing operations, ensuring quality standards, and managing employee relations. This role requires a strategic leader who can effectively allocate resources, maintain high-quality service, and foster positive relationships within the team and with external partners. The position demands a hands-on approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in food manufacturing or related logistics activities.
  • Previous experience in a similar role or within airside, aviation, or FMCG.
  • Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a relevant field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support Department Managers with internal employee relations.
  • Ensure proper staff allocation to maximize efficiency in all departments.
  • Monitor production departments to maintain DO & CO quality standards.
  • Oversee quality aspects of operations to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with department heads to provide professional service.
  • Represent DO & CO in all external communications.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate policies and procedures.
  • Utilize DO & CO resources effectively to achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with airlines, airports, and legal requirements.
  • Implement process improvements as needed.
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
  • Partner with stakeholders for clear requirements documentation.
  • Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking.
  • Monitor and forecast demand levels.
  • Assess, manage, and minimize risks.
