About The Position
The Deputy Emergency Management Coordinator is responsible for developing, revising, and operationalizing emergency management plans, including the City's Emergency Operations Plan (EOP). This role oversees preparedness activities, supports the City's emergency management program, and responds to emergencies in both field and emergency operations center settings. The position requires collaboration with public safety and disaster response stakeholders, and the ability to work autonomously while managing multiple projects and communicating effectively under stress.
