The position involves examining, verifying, and inputting data into various court computer systems to update information regarding pending, disposed, microfilmed, criminal, civil, and family cases, using detailed data entry codes. Responsibilities include researching and analyzing historical data, verifying, processing, and distributing documents, ensuring files are complete and in proper order, and using various computer checkout systems to manage files. The role also requires answering incoming calls, assisting the public and attorneys, calculating and collecting costs associated with criminal cases, issuing bills of cost, tracking legal documents, and supporting department staff as needed. Participation in emergency management activities during local disasters is also required.
