About The Position

The District Attorney of Solano County invites you to apply for the position of Deputy District Attorney I-IV. Deputy District Attorneys practice criminal and civil law in the prosecution of individuals accused of violating state and/or local laws.

Requirements

• Active membership in the California State Bar Association.
• Possession of or ability to obtain a valid Class C California driver's license.
• Experience in both criminal prosecution and civil litigation acquired in a District Attorney's Office or other State or Federal prosecutor's office and/or private law firm.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new areas of the law.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Experience handling and presenting complex legal matters effectively in court.
• Effective negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong legal research and writing skills and oral advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Practice criminal and civil law in the prosecution of individuals accused of violating state and/or local laws.
