About The Position

The Deputy Director, Special Assignments (Client Security Consulting) will be responsible for working with clients on assessing and providing solutions for their security needs. This pivotal role requires a seasoned professional with an understanding of the industry’s best practices as it relates to security consulting. This role is a remote position based in the United States.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in threat vulnerability and risk assessments (TVRA).
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Background check required.
• Highly proficient in all components of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Requires a home office environment with minimal background noise and visual distractions to support focus and high-quality work.

Nice To Haves

• A background in military and/or federal law enforcement is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicating with Global Guardian clients on a regular basis.
• Recording and notating client security requirements.
• Building a path towards the client’s desired security end-state.
• Creating scopes of work for clients to review and approve.
• Scheduling personnel for the components and tasks agreed upon by the client.
• Ensuring personnel arrive onsite, on time, and are properly prepared to conduct the task.
• Receiving and conducting an initial review of finished reports from onsite assessors.
• Performing occasional threat vulnerability, and risk (TVR) assessments for clients.
• Conducting occasional training sessions for clients in active shooter, personal security, travel security, and other areas of security via VTC, in-person lecture, TTX, or practical application.
• Consult with, educate, and otherwise manage client expectations in a positive, professional manner.
• Requirement of occasional travel for various needs, typically limited to no more than two short trips per month.
