About The Position
IBTCI is seeking a Deputy Director- Operations and Finance for the Global Health Technical Assistance Mission Support (GH-TAMS) Task Order with the USAID/Bureau for Global Health. This role is critical in providing administrative leadership and oversight for the GH-TAMS project, which is a $70 million five-year contract designed to support USAID operating units working on health-related activities. The Deputy Director will be a key member of the project's Senior Management team, reporting directly to the Project Director and supervising the project's finance team. The position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in work location within the United States, particularly in the DMV area and several other states. The Deputy Director will oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, expenditure tracking, and financial reporting. This includes providing timely and accurate financial reports to IBTCI and managing prime award management in coordination with IBTCI Contracts. The role also involves managing subaward actions and relations, ensuring compliance with USAID and IBTCI procedures, and overseeing the recruitment of project staff. The successful candidate will develop and refine systems and tools for project management and train finance and program staff in their use. This position is expected to last until January 14, 2025, and candidates should only apply if they are interested in this timeframe. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in international development, project financial management, and experience with USAID-funded programs.
