About The Position
The primary purpose of this position is to lead the integration and synchronization of assigned and allocated forces to achieve military and humanitarian operations and activities in support of broad strategic objectives. The Deputy Director has complete responsibility for broad strategic theater operations and is permitted maximum latitude for independent judgment to articulate the Commander's objectives and guidance into lucid policies, initiatives, and programs. The challenges faced by the Deputy Director are complex, necessitating an array of solutions that require a consummate professional seasoned by experience with the national leadership across all joint domains.
