Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Deputy Director for Administration is responsible for overseeing an array of activities to shape an inclusive, collaborative, and high performing culture at DESC. The scope of responsibilities includes aligning several centralized departments to support the agency's mission, priorities, programs, and budgets. Key focus areas include safety, risk, real estate facilities and other assets, Information Technology, Human Resources, labor relations, compliance and information management, staff training, and on-going management, evaluation, and continuous improvement of those functions. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and a proven track record leading organizational improvements in a complex nonprofit organization, and experience managing and developing direct reports who operate at the leadership level and oversee large teams and areas of responsibility.
