About The Position
IIF is seeking a Deputy Director to help lead its work in Digital Finance. This role will play a critical part in shaping industry positions on emerging technologies such as digital assets and tokenization, AI and machine learning, quantum computing, data policy, decentralized finance (DeFi), payments/cross-border payments, and digital identity. A key function of this role will be to engage with regulators, supervisors, and policymakers globally. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in regulatory policy related to financial technology and experience with public-sector engagement (including regulatory hearings on Capitol Hill and with government agencies such as the SEC, Federal Reserve, or Treasury in the U.S. and with global bodies such as the FSB, BIS, OECD, IOSCO).
